Who’s GACN?
A Pan-African network of businesses, organizations, and individuals, all with similar best interest for African people.
Who’s Back to Africa Tours?
Back To Africa Tours is an organization which was formed based on the similar mindset of GACN members, which is that we need to be living in and helping to develop Africa. We aim to promote and encourage others to go back to the Motherland, especially if they haven’t done so before. Our goal is that these tours will allow us to become more familiar with all around Africa and its Diasporas, and increase unified development.
Future Tours
Ghana is one of our regular tours. We were involved in 3 visits from Canada in 2019, and are planning 2 in 2020 already. Most members of GACN were either born in Ghana or have parents that have immigrated to Canada from Ghana, so Ghana is a place we are closely connected to. As you know many Black Canadians are first generation Canadians, meaning many have just recently come from Africa, so we learn quick and now it is time for some of us to return.
Ghana 2019 The Year of Return
Come join us this year to celebrate the Year of Return, as we mark 2019’s historical and spiritual significance as this generation’s big “call out” to African Descents to return. We will have our local tour leader, Slow (picture to the right) as well as many others that have experienced Ghana many times, to guide you through the country and ensure you completely get what you wanted out of this trip. We want people’s good experiences to encourage others, so that we can look back at the next 10 years and be proud to say that we assisted in creating the Decade of Return for the Back To Africa movement!
